MD-TEC has assisted Ostique on medical device development and funding opportunities. Ostique offers an innovative system which will lead to a step change in “ostomy” management. The customisable stoma care solution aims to improve the mobility, social inclusion and wellbeing of stoma patients. Our team advised the company on different market routes, ISO bio-compatibility tests, user testing (and human factors) and respective product classification (and essential requirements) for CE marking purposes. The work with Ostique is ongoing and it includes:
